Konnyek - Hungarian, Tears, as Bartok's Duke Bluebeard repetedly replies to Juidith, it is the name composer Marina Vesic and I chose for our Collaboration, for wich this Percussion suite, for large solo drum, was expressly created. This music then takes its name from that collaboration and not the other way around. I feel though that this music stands on it's own as a piece, and therfore it takes the Rh catalogue number 447, a 21st Dm disc and a 119th DCM edition disc. I have previously, rigorously kept my Solo music [ie the Rh catalogue], seperate and detatched from my vigerous collaborative works [ which can not have an Rh numbers That determining that it wholly belongs to me]. the bluring here being, that it was created expressly for marina vesic ,to electronically blend with her Piano line, as I shall do like wise; seperately and distictly to create our first two works as Konnyek. Then It will belong more to US than me. It was created to belong to others, it is however, a good and strong work in itself, and may be enjoyed for itself, as I created it. It will lead a double if not a tripple life.
