DCM 096 Blue Dark Marine, an Album close to my heart. It's a Dream in blue, the Abstraction of blue, how is music blue, not the emotional quip blue, but the colour Blue. Music for me can be a saturation, a total emersion experience. I Saw a man paint a wall sized canvass, with a blanket of expensive blue oil paint in a rough combed texture of lines scraped through the paint, it was heaven to me, Blue on Blue. What would that blueness, that saturation, sound like ? I can hear Mark Rothko's too and Barnett Newman's. They say one makes the music one most wants to hear. Blueness as the sublime, like my old days in the Cosmic, but now that outer space is Musical Space, is an inner space, of notion, of notional blueness, of 'Skyness' of 'Oceaness' in Blue sublimation. "A mirror on which to dwell" {EC.].
